ALFREDO E. PADILLA is a communications professional with over ten years of diversified experience in media relations, issue management, and development of target markets programs for various organizations and corporate accounts.

His professional experience ranges from account management to in-house communications expert on communication issues. Padilla is currently Vice President of corporate communications for Dallas-based Comerica Bank. He has substantial experience in the banking industry. Sandwiched between Comerica and positions with Washington Mutual and Union Bank of California, he worked for Wal-Mart Corporation as senior communication professional and as a freelancer with list of clients that included not only banking but healthcare, nonprofit and telecommunications.

 

Padilla graduated from California University, Dominguez Hills, earning a bachelor degree in communications with emphasis in public relations and a minor in English. He served as a past president and he is currently a senior advisor for the Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA.) He is an active board member of the national Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Foundation. He enjoys writing, reading and running.
