NEGIN KAMALI is a seasoned communications professional with nearly 12 years public relations experience, developing, managing and executing successful programs for leading consumer brands in the toy, wine, food, travel and hospitality industries. She currently is a senior vice president with the consumer marketing practice in the Los Angeles office of GolinHarris.
Highlights among her consumer public relations experience includes developing and executing programs to celebrate Hot Wheels’ 35th and 40th anniversaries; creating an integrated marketing program, Flayvors of Washington, for Columbia Crest Grand Estates wines and its chef partner, Bobby Flay; and generating media coverage to create awareness for the premiere of two museum exhibitions, Cleopatra: The Search of the Last Queen of Egypt and “Real Pirates: The Untold Story of the Whydah from Slave Ship to Pirate Ship,” and recently launching Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth.
Prior to GolinHarris, Negin worked for Bishoff Solomon Communications in Boston, MA within the consumer, travel and hospitality group. Negin played a key role in the programs for clients, McDonalds, Starbucks, The Harpoon Brewery, The Colonnade Hotel, Boston’s Fourth of July on the Esplanade and Legal Sea Foods. Negin’s experience included regional product launches, restaurant openings, event management and media relations.
Negin holds a Master of Arts in public relations from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from the University of California, San Diego.
