ERIC MOSES is a director in the Communications and Public Affairs Department at Occidental Petroleum Corp. He is also an adjunct professor at the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California, teaching an undergraduate class in public relations writing.
Eric has spent his professional career in journalism, politics, public policy and public relations. He started out as a reporter for Los Angeles-based City News Service and then as a reporter, columnist and editorial writer for the Daily News of Los Angeles. His political and public policy background came as an assistant deputy mayor in Los Angeles Mayor Richard J. Riordan’s administration, handling water and energy issues, and as director of communications for Los Angeles City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo. Eric also worked for two of the world’s largest public relations firms, Hill & Knowlton, Inc. and Fleishman-Hillard, Inc., in addition to leading the media relations practice at Los Angeles-based Consensus Inc.
Eric has been a member of the PRSA-LA board of directors since 2005.
