SHARI MESULAM is an entertainment and lifestyle publicist who recently launched The Mesulam Group, a full service communications company which handles the publicity for a wide range of clients including the American Film Institute, Jimmy Kimmel’s San Gennaro Foundation, “I Have a Dream” Foundation – Los Angeles, Premiere Props, University Kidney Research Organization and BierBeisl.

Mesulam was most recently the Vice President of Entertainment at MPRM Communications where for six years she led the strategic development and execution of publicity campaigns for event and corporate clients including the British Academy of Film and Television Arts/Los Angeles, AFI Fest, The Los Angeles Ballet, TCM’s Classic Film Festival and BritWeek.   She also has experience as an entertainment journalist, having produced entertainment news for CNN's Showbiz Today and CBS' Early Show. In addition, she served as a talent booker for programs including MTV's FANatic, Columbia/TriStar's The Ricki Lake Show and USA's Happy Hour.  She began her career as a music and entertainment publicist at Solters/Roskin/Friedman and Rogers & Cowan in New York.

Mesulam is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a degree in English and Communications.
