RITA TATEEL has been working with celebrities for over twenty-five years, including the last twenty-three as President of The Celebrity Source.  Her company is hired to recruit and coordinate celebrities for special events and PR/marketing campaigns, for both corporate and non-profit clients.

The Celebrity Source has been hired by companies and organizations such as Disney, Paramount, Coca-Cola, Hallmark, Nestle, People Magazine, Purina, Toyota Motorsports, Habitat for Humanity, American Red Cross and Special Olympics, among many others.

Tateel has been interviewed and quoted as an expert on celebrities in numerous publications and media sources including CNN, The Wall Street Journal, People Magazine, Playboy Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, N.Y. Times, USA Today, "E! Entertainment Television," "EXTRA!" and "Entertainment Tonight."

Tateel is only the third person in the sixty year history of PRSA-LA to have served as president of the chapter for two-terms (2008 & 2009). She also helped create PRSA's national Entertainment & Sports professional interest section and currently serves on the section's Executive Committee.

Rita Tateel is married to Ted Bavin, a solar contractor for 30+ years, who is committed to "saving the earth, one solar system at a time."  Tateel has a Masters Degree in Social Work and a Bachelors Degree in Child Development (which she says comes in very handy when working with celebrities).
